Ghost Pirates: Black and White Artwork! a labor of love with pen and ink art style.  I've always have loved to do black and white art style artwork and I strongly felt as I created the Ghost Pirates comic book that doing it in black and white would actually enhance the feeling of the comic based on the storyline. It was wonderful to put i n the lines and textures against solid black to create a style that was visually powerful and wonderful to create. I will admit that with some of the panels I may have put in too many lines and details, but that's what's best about creating your own works because you can learn and grow from the feedback you get from others. Feel free to check out some of the pages of Ghost Pirates that are available for view on the Global Comix website. Read Ghost Pirates Chapter 1 Page 1 in English Online (globalcomix.com)

This is a house and home illustration I did for a client of mine on Fiverr. He was a realtor and whenever he was able to help his clients to buy a home, he would have me to do an illustration of the house to give to the clients as closing gifts. He sold a number of houses of different sizes and locations. I really enjoyed doing these drawings for him. I have a number of these drawings saved on file. I can also do full color illustrated renderings of homes. In the coming days I will be posting an article of my blog about the process I use for doing these drawings and the response I once got from a potential client on Fiverr. Stay tuned for that article because I would really like to hear comments from fellow artists about the various techniques we use to create artworks. I'll look for you then. Stay tuned.

My Journey as an Artist Part 1: The very early years As far back as I can remember my earliest days of being an artist came around 1970 in Oakland California where I grew up. Only at the age of 4 at that time I did manage to use the only means I had to create images at the time to come up with a couple of what I thought at the time were very unique characters. Not having a pencil or paper at the time I actually used to play with dirt outside of our home. The other siblings and I would get dirt from the backyard and spread it on the smooth cement on the ground sort of creating a dark canvas. We would then use popsicle sticks to draw pictures on the dirt canvas. I drew a lot of different things during that time however the two characters I remember creating at that time was a duo known as X and O. X and O were two very simple characters basically based off of the tic tac toe game which I had recently just learned about around the age of 4. The characters themselves were loveable enough,

Great News! Artwanted.com has accepted me into their upcoming book of creative artists. I had to submit some work and they choose the artists they want to have represented in the book. Kind of like a contest. I was chosen along with other artists to be featured in the book! The book should be out sometime in November. I'm looking forward to sharing it with you when it comes out!

Ghost Pirates! Production Update: Currently more than half the way through the comic pages. I should have production of this comic story completed by late early October unless I received multiple assignments on Fiverr. Looking forward to getting this printed soon after production is over. Should be released by late October or early November.

Update on Ghost Pirates Comic Book Story! About 20 pages of the comic are completed and an estimated 20 more pages need to be done. I believe based on the current production progress the comic should be completed by the end of September. This could change based on how many Fiverr projects I may be working on. Wish me the best of luck! I'll keep plugging away at it!
